“THEY SAY LOVE IS BLIND, BUT IT’S TRAUMA THAT’S BLIND. LOVE SEES WHAT IS.” - NEIL STRAUSS

These words by Neil Strauss are 🔥 and remind me of the fact that often we filter the world through our wounds and trauma. So little of what we experience of life is what is actually happening, but rather what we perceive is happening... and trauma and deep emotional wounds impact that perception.

That’s not meant to scare you but rather to invite some space to think about things before responding.

To me, that is the real definition of love.
