Whether you’re seeking support around the worthiness wound®, complex trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, or other deeply entrenched struggles, I work to get to the heart of the matter so you can feel more free.

My story

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and immigrating to the United States as a child, I experienced a profound transition that sparked a lifelong quest for understanding my place in the world. From an early age, I yearned to grasp the meaning of life and my role within it.

In the first decade of my career as a yoga teacher and somatic-focused coach, I dedicated myself to helping individuals cultivate radical self-acceptance and create nurturing inner spaces. I supported countless humans in navigating the challenges of people-pleasing, perfectionism, and framework for understanding low self-worth that I conceptualized called the worthiness wound®.

As my practice evolved, I became increasingly disillusioned with the limitations of self-help, pop psychology, and other behavioral-focused approaches. These methods often fail to address deeper trauma and entrenched patterns, leaving individuals on a perpetual self-improvement treadmill. I knew there had to be a more profound, lasting approach to healing.

This led me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a focus on trauma and depth psychology, followed by five years of advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Through this rigorous, evidence-based approach, I discovered a robust philosophy for fostering long-term psychological change.

I work with the tender-hearted.

I am the owner of a boutique private practice where I work with individuals, couples and groups (both virtually and in-person in San Luis Obispo, CA) who are seeking thoughtful, depth-oriented psychotherapy. Alongside my podcast, teachings, and writings, my work is in service of helping people uncover the roots of their challenges, deepen their self-understanding, and experience the freedom that comes from becoming more fully themselves.
